For this purpose, AWStats, a free web analysis software, is used. It is used for the analysis of logfiles, which the webserver produces on the basis of visitor’s inquiries. In contrast to other web analysis software, AWStats does not transfer data to third party servers. The programme is installed on its own hosting package.
